UNGA-High-Level-Reception-2015

The United Nations, having its 70th Anniversary this year, has involved enormous contributions of the private sector and civil society to finalize the Post-2015 Development Agenda. By inviting the Heads of Delegates together with CSOs and the representatives of private sector, UNGA High-Level Reception provided a platform to share the best practices and facilitated collaboration between relevant agencies.

UNGA 70th Session President H.E. Mogens Lykketoft has delivered his keynote remarks by emphasizing that the Post-2015 Agenda has global targets which will foster sustainable economic and social development all around the world. The Reception at Waldorf Astoria welcomed 13 Ministers, Senators and Cabinet Members of the following countries: Albania, Australia, Benin, Central African Republic, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Denmark, Nigeria, Gambia, and Switzerland.
